With the Monday morning blues, it’s hard to wake up slightly earlier than usual just to make a smoothie. Today, i’ve made a quick blast, very simple and easy with minimal effort. Easy to just get out of bed, make your blast and go straight to work.
This is what I call a Berry Blast with a twist.

The above ingredients, are all natural and sweet for a smoothie. With natural sugars, this gives you a good kick starts to the day and curb your sweet cravings, being an alternative to chocolate and desserts. I tend to add Banana as a good source of protein, especially if i’m working out. To give it an alternative taste so that the drink isn’t as boring with just berries, I add pineapple, which again is another sweetener to the ingredients.
Oats, helps me kick start the digestive system and water is good to make the smoothie runnier, as banana thickens the end result. Other alternatives to water is to add ice, to give you the refreshing feeling or freeze the berries before putting it into the blender.
